QD: News Every Day--One-third of internists won't practice medicine in 10 years

More than a third of internists say they won't be practicing medicine 10 years from now, an ACP Internist poll reported.

Note that the poll didn't ask if doctors would be in private practice, or employed in some other business model. The question was in they'd be practicing medicine.

The poll was conducted online in August at ACP Internist's website.
